Now she is an orphan- everything is taken from her- family, friends and country. Yet the blind powers-that-be cannot take away her soul.
The Immigrant. He longed for his Homeland, the dream of his Promised Land, and found himself a Stranger in a Strange Land.

I began these pieces in 2023-24 but never completed them for one reason or other. When I unpacked them from the portfolio upon moving to D.C. - I felt compelled to finish them.
